In the Odisha Assembly on Friday, August 23, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has approved a standard operating procedure (SOP) to implement the Subhadra scheme. Under this scheme, women from economically weaker families of the state whose age is 21 to 60 years will be included under this scheme. For which the Assembly has approved the implementation of this scheme from 2024-25 to 2028-29.

Under the scheme, beneficiaries will get Rs 10,000 in their bank accounts in two installments in a year. The money will be deposited in the bank accounts of the beneficiaries on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan and on International Women's Day (March 8). To avail the benefits under this scheme, women can apply by filling the free form available at Anganwadi centers, block offices, Mo Seva centers and Jan Seva centers.
