Odisha Subhadra Yojana Age Limit - The Odisha government is launching the Subhadra Yojana from 17 September 2024 with the aim of making the women of the state self-reliant. In which, on 28 August 2024, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi announced the implementation of the Subhadra Yojana in the Assembly, under which one crore women between the ages of 21 and 60 will be provided ₹ 50,000 in five years.
The Subhadra Yojana of the Odisha government will change the lives of more than one crore women in the state and will cover all eligible women aged 21 years or above and below 60 years. The Chief Minister of Odisha has said that a total of ₹10,000 will be paid in two installments of ₹5000 each year on Rakhi Purnima Day and International Women's Day (March 8). Thus, an eligible female beneficiary will get a total of ₹50,000 in five years.
The scheme has been approved to be implemented from the financial year 2024-25 to the financial year 2028-29. An outlay of ₹55,825 crore has been made for this initiative. Subhadra Yojana Women in Odisha who are receiving assistance of ₹1,500 or more per month or ₹18,000 or more per year under any other government scheme will also be ineligible to be included under Subhadra.
